In this section you will find a number of longer analytical articles and working papers that provide background and context to the material found elsewhere on this site. The entire site is indexed, so it should be easy to find any related material by using the site search box located at the top of each page.

Please choose from the menu list. Working papers are works in progress, as such they represent the author's ideas at a particular point during the research process: they are not usually the finished article and they should not normally be cited. Articles, on the other hand, are generally the author's final word. Working papers are not normally peer-reviewed, while articles always are.

Submitting to the CPHRC

We invite you to submit your articles, working papers and research notes for publication in this section. As with all paper academic journals, all article submissions will be assessed by two anonymous referees who are specialists in this field prior to publication. Apart from this quality assessment, our only requirements are that your submission is concerned with the political history of republican Portugal, it is in English and that it is your work and you have the legal right to publish it.
